Oberg is a highly accomplished guitar player with an advanced knowledge of the fretboard and influenced by jazz guitar icons such as Wes Montgomery, George Benson and Pat Martino. He is noted for his fast chops and innovative use of altered scales with harmony. The repertoire transcends many genres including bebop, bossa nova, swing, gypsy and fusion.
